As an avid astronomer and telescope maker, Kevin will use a planetarium projector to lead you on a breathtaking tour of the night sky. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle before and during the event. Feeling hungry? The Vintner's Slice will be serving up artisanal pizza. A bassist and educator originally from Southern California, and now living in Western Massachusetts. They have performed with a variety of leading jazz musicians such as Larry Koonse, Vinny Golia, Bevan Manson, and John Ellis, as well as with local musicians such as Mia Friedman and Johnny Miko and the C-5s. Sean will be joined by guitarist Chris Arnone for afternoon of creative imaginings of some of their favorite jazz standards and other songs.

Step into the secrets of the cards—and the winery—at The Truth is in the Traminette, a tarot-fueled mystery party among the tanks and barrels at Black Birch Vineyard.

Sip a glass of wine as you mingle with fellow guests, learn the hidden meanings behind the symbols and stories of the tarot, and use your newfound insights to uncover a deliciously playful whodunit. Someone will meet a mysterious fate, and it’s up to the tarot players (and perhaps the wintery ghost of the victim) to solve the case before the afternoon is through.
