Rosé Release Party

Get ready to welcome the upcoming 2024 season in style with Black Birch Vineyards' 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir. And what better way to do it than by joining our Rose Release Party? Immerse yourself in loads of delicious food, live music and of course, some top-quality wine!

Join the festivities on April 27th and choose one of the two sessions: 12 pm - 2:30 pm or 3 pm - 5:30 pm. With capacity limits for outdoor events, make sure to secure your spot for the 2.5-hour session at just $12 per person. You'll also receive a complimentary logo'd stemless wine glass and a sample of the freshly released 2023 Rosé.

Regular wine tastings will not be available during the event. Glass and bottle sales only.

  • We encourage you to bring lawn seats or blankets.

  • Please carpool if you can.

  • This is a family-friendly event and guests under 21 are free and don't require a ticket.

  • We are pet-friendly, however, we do recommend you leave your furriends home this time.

  • You may bring outside food and snacks.

  • Any alcohol other than Black Birch wine is prohibited and violates our farm winery license.

Mother's Day Yoga at the Vineyard

This Mother's Day, treat yourself to a relaxing yoga flow class with instructor Rachel Howe and complete it with a picnic box with delectable snacks curated by Robert Neimann of Fatti In Casa and a Black Birch glass of wine. Enjoy the day with your son or daughter to make it an extra special day. You deserve it!

~ Begin with Yoga from 10 - 11 am on the front lawn.  

  • Event will be held indoors if inclement weather.

  • Please be sure to bring your own yoga mat

~ Enjoy your picnic and wine from 11 am - 12 noon

  • You are welcome to stay longer when we open to the public at 12 noon

Join us for a lovely afternoon celebration with Mom at Black Birch Vineyard! On this auspicious occasion, Mom's tasting is on the house!

While you're here, relish some delicious treats from The Laughing Tomato and Caravan Kitchen.

Enjoy an amazing duo of guitar and cello by Sasha K with wife and mother, Courtney from 1 PM to 3 PM.

You can also arrange your very own bouquet of flowers from Blooming Table Events flower bar.

Please call us ahead of time to book your spot if your group consists of 9 to 15 adults. Although reservations aren't mandatory, it'll help us serve you better.

All tables are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage you to bring your lawn chairs along.

Do note that bringing outside alcohol is strictly prohibited as it violates our state winery license.

Charcuterie Workshop

Join us for an evening of charcuterie-making at Black Birch Vineyard. Learn how to create your own charcuterie board during a hands-on workshop with Cariel from E. Silver Charcuterie. Cariel will be providing all the tools and ingredients needed to create your charcuterie masterpiece.  Techniques taught will include the salami rose, salami river, zipper pattern and more!  Best thing is, you get to enjoy it at the end of the evening with a glass of wine!

Bio: Cariel has always had a passion for food and growing up in Jamaica gave her an appreciation for all the flavors, colors and textures present in every meal. With her love for food, especially snacking, she has found herself with a deeper passion, making savory, sweet and delightful charcuterie boxes and boards! She absolutely enjoys making aesthetically pleasing and tasty boxes and platters and wants to share that passion with you.

BBV Dance Night!

Discover the joy of dance with an evening of Salsa, Bachata, Waltz, and Rhumba at Black Birch Vineyard! Join us for a special dance night, in collaboration with the Ballroom Outlet, where you can experience the perfect combination of wine, company, and rhythmic movements.

Here are the details:

Escape the cold and get your body moving! Whether you're a beginner, looking to improve your skills, or just want to have a good time, the professional dance instructors from the Ballroom Outlet will be there to guide you every step of the way. You'll not only learn the basics and develop your technique, but also gain confidence on the dance floor.

The instruction session runs from 7-8 PM and is priced at $15 per person, which includes open dance time until 9:30 PM. If you prefer to skip the instruction, you can join the open dance session from 8-9:30 PM for just $5 per person.

Light snacks will be offered or you are welcome to bring your own food. Wine is sold by the glass only.

To ensure your spot, we recommend purchasing advance tickets, although door sales will also be available.

Vintner's Dinner

Join us for a lovely night of Black Birch wines paired with an exquisite meal at our fifth annual Vintner’s Dinner. Come with friends, meet new friends and share your wine experiences over a delicious meal. Gather around our table as Michelle gives an update on happenings at the vineyard and plans for the upcoming year, while Ian gives reflections on farming in Hatfield the last year and his weather, crop, and wine predictions for 2024.  

We have been working with Gretchen from the Porch Too of Brattleboro, VT and have put together a decadent 4-course meal with some of our favorite wines, including some not yet released ones! We’ll greet you at 6:30 with a glass of sparkling Brilliant, and an abundant spread of local cheeses, and cured meats, along with accoutrements.  Dinner is served at 7:00.  

Menu for the evening

First Course: Paired with our 2022 Heritage Traminette

  • Wasabi Deviled Eggs with furikake and gochujang with crispy rice and kimchi (GF)

Soup Course: Paired with our 2023 Viognier

  • Carrot Milkweed Ginger Soup with Harissa Pumpkin Seeds (Vegan, GF)

Entree: Paired with our 2022 Saperavi

  • Brown butter gnocchi & squash with crispy Slipstream Farm mushrooms, sweet pea puree with parmesan, basil oil & local micro greens with pistachio, chili, and shallot crumble (Vegetarian)                  *This option can be altered to also be vegan and gluten-free

OR

  • Braised pork with cipollini onions and plums over crispy parmesan polenta and asparagus with a fennel salad garnish (GF)

Dessert course: Paired with our Ruby Port-style dessert wine

  • Gourmet cookie plates featuring an assortment such as strawberry shortbread cookies, persimmon fruit jellies (GF), chocolate truffle sea salt, lime margarita rolled date, chocolate coconut almond bites (GF, Vegan)

Coffee and Tea Bar available to conclude the evening.

Join us for an evening under the stars right inside our warm and cozy winery! Our winemaker Kevin Collins is also an amateur astronomer and telescope maker. Using a planetarium projector he will take us on a journey across the night sky, star-hopping through constellations to show and tell about some of our universe's most beautiful sights. Included in this season's shows will be a short talk on the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse in April 2024! Learn about why total eclipses happen, when, and where to view the first in decades that will be within a few hour's drive of western Massachusetts.

Glass and bottle purchases are available.
